In the industry, there is Wizkid, and then there’s everybody else.
For years now, the 31-year-old star has been playing in a league of his own. He has enjoyed immense success in his career and has championed a revolution that has seen afro-pop become something of global recognition.
In the process, he has turned himself into a cash king too. Wizkid has established himself as one of the (if not the) highest-paid artists in Africa.
The truth is although he’s getting paid now but he has always been a sensation and even in the past, people appreciated his talent and have paid him handsomely for that.
